Joint Programs - TAFE NSW/Universities

TAFE NSW, the University of Wollongong and Charles Sturt University have joined forces to bring to you a number of exciting opportunities.

TAFE NSW and the University of Wollongong (UOW)

You can take advantage of joint programs between TAFE NSW and the University of Wollongong in areas such as Event Management, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management and Digital Media.

These programs offer the following benefits:

  • a Degree and Advanced Diploma in three years; the same time as completing a Bachelor Degree
  • recognition of prior learning with TAFE NSW
  • credit transfer with the University of Wollongong
  • VET-FEE Help for the TAFE NSW component and HECS Help for the university component.

Joint Degrees on offer:

  • Bachelor of Digital Media
    The Bachelor of Digital Media is a joint initiative of the UOW’s Faculty of Creative Arts and TAFE NSW. The program, offered at the Digital Media Centre (DMC) located at UOW's Innovation Campus, offers you an exciting opportunity to study a program that will provide you with a rich learning experience combining creative, technical and conceptual skills which are relevant to all aspects of digital media production. If you're interested in finding out more about the course, go to Bachelor of Digital Media.
  • Commerce degrees:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (Events)
      The Bachelor of Commerce (Event Management) is delivered jointly by UOW and TAFE NSW. Upon completion, you will receive a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UOW and an Advanced Diploma of Events from TAFE NSW.     • Bachelor of Commerce – TAFE NSW Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism
      The Bachelor of Commerce (Tourism Management) is delivered jointly by UOW and TAFE NSW. Upon completion, you will receive a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UOW and an Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism from TAFE NSW.       The Bachelor of Commerce (Hospitality Management) is delivered jointly by UOW and TAFE NSW.
