Pathways for Trade Qualifications

If you’ve been working in an industry or trade area for an extended period of time, but never received a qualification, a TAFE NSW Pathways for Trade Qualification course could be for you.

These courses are ideal for people with relevant work experience in an industry who would benefit from having a trade qualification – but are not at a life stage suited to an apprenticeship.

If you meet the following criteria, you may be eligible to undertake this training as a fully Government Subsidised course:

  • are aged 15 years or older (these courses are targeted at those over 21 years of age)
  • have left school
  • live or work in New South Wales
  • are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
